My drive into the city of Toronto today with Family and Friends in the car Thursday December 22 at 3:00 - 3:30 was received with the conversations similar from the analog repeaters in a typical abusive manor. That ranged from the HAM radio alienating conversations for the hours and his resentment. The eliteness has not been experienced since TFMCS repeater ve3twr ..... at the time thoughts of : "when will his batteries die".

The company in my car was "disgusted" by the repeat reference and use of the word "Gestapo" in his conversation, calling the DMR repeater owner VA3XPR gestapo and based on the etymology of the word it sicken many Jewish people friends. Other emails received that day said it disgusted many individual listening on the DMR repeater and it was typical of hatred from the TFMCS PAUL BRISCOE VE3KU. Is that what we are now on DMR? Is that who we now are? It is abusive from etymology of the word and degrade "Judaism". On DMR the conversation have been recently narcissistic and full of innuendos and negative discussions.

He sound like a smug __ with his comments about "data points"

I DO NOT understand the resentment and why the alienating conversations over the last two weeks 2015 since PAUL BRISCOE VE3KU started using DMR. Where is his hatred coming from? Please help me understand the repeated daily abusive use of the word "Gestapo" and his alienating conversations "we are DStar" or "We are analog" innuendos. Why use a system with so much condemn for it.

I fail to understand the hatred and suttle innuendos that have been recent, over the last week or two weeks since PAUL BRISCOE VE3KU started using DMR. Why use DMR if you condemn it and favorable to other modes DStar. As said by many, just because you can get the cheapest DMR radio and bitter that DStar cost more for a radio.

Mal....  after reaching out to you and speaking to you about the ABUSE at the TFMCS repeaters system.   Thank for your suggestion to over look and laugh it off.

This evening I have started the ball rolling.  

Ma...... today again as in the last 3 years for the TFMCS repeater VE3TWR I listened to hours of ABUSE and replayed recordings.   It seems the TFMCS repeater controller may not have been available as the typical "LACK OF GOVERNANCE" on the TFMCS repeaters,  I attempted to call for a repeater controller for more than an hour.

With children in my home and trash coming out of the TFMCS repeater, maybe it is time to shut down and remove this repeater from use?


Please help,  does anyone wish to stop the Trash coming from the Toronto CANADA repeater VE3TWR 444.400.  The absence of a repeater controller after listening for about 3 hours.

The two hours or more of trash coming out of the TFMCS repeater and the lack of a repeater controller for two or three hour or someone to shut down the repeater show incompetent in this TFMCS group.

My question is please can you provide escalation details for the TFMCS repeater group ?   The Legal Name of the GROUP  ??

With the painful and expensive lessons learned, it seems the litigants in the NCPRN kerfuffle have settled

In the matter of Kenneth Bryant v. NCPRN, Scott Whitaker and Wade Hampton, Jr., this issue has been resolved. We regret this matter occurred and acknowledge that it could have been handled better, and regret some of the unfortunate public comments made pertaining to this litigation and to Mr. Bryant. It is in the best interests of Amateur Radio that this matter be resolved without further litigation.

Of course the greater community must talk about this case as it highlights the exposure repeater system operators have concerning liabilities resulting from actions that cause defamation per se, injury, or other harm to a person's reputation, etc. Just because you
have the federal legal authority to ban someone on your repeater does NOT immunize you from liability if it was done for illegal or injurious purposes... even if incidental or accidental. To think otherwise is reckless.

To all repeater operators thinking the FCC rules shield them from all things, consider the following scenarios:
Ban repeater user for causing interference? No problem so long as you amass "and archive" sufficient evidence.
Ban repeater user for being black (or female, or Hispanic, etc.)? You will be sued out of existence and rightfully so.
Ban repeater user for "unsubstantiated" poor/illicit conduct causing defamation per se? You might be sued and rightfully so.


The point is the FCC doesn't give one carte blanche to violate other rights a citizen may have. Think I'm wrong? Lawyers, please tell me where.

The other key takeaway from this case is the notion NCPRN declared itself not an organization while acting like one towards the plaintiff. Hence the plaintiff sued NCPRN and all the "members" within it. It isn't clear a precedent was set on this particular aspect, but I think it is safe to say one can't pretend an organization isn't one when it is clearly active and acting "organized."

My drive into the city of Toronto today with Family and Friends in the car Thursday December 22 at 3:00 - 3:30 was received with the conversations similar from the analog repeaters in a typical abusive manor. That ranged from the HAM radio alienating conversations for the hours and his resentment. The eliteness has not been experienced since TFMCS repeater ve3twr ..... at the time thoughts of : "when will his batteries die".

The company in my car was "disgusted" by the repeat reference and use of the word  "Gestapo" in his conversation and based on the etymology of the word it sicken many Jewish people.  Other emails received that day said it disgusted many individual listening on the DMR repeater and it was typical of hatred from the TFMCS  PAUL BRISCOE VE3KU.  Is that what we are now on DMR?   Is that who we now are?  It is abusive from etymology of the word and degrade "Judaism".  On DMR the conversation have been recently narcissistic and full of innuendos and negative discussions.

He sound like a smug __ with his comments about "data points"

I DO NOT understand the resentment and why the alienating conversations over the last two weeks since PAUL BRISCOE VE3KU started using DMR.  Where is his hatred coming from?  Please help me understand the repeated daily abusive use of the word  "Gestapo" and his alienating conversations "we are DStar" or "We are analog" innuendos.  Why use a system with so much condemn for it.

I fail to understand the hatred and suttle innuendos that have been recent, over the last week or two weeks since  PAUL BRISCOE VE3KU started using DMR.   Why use DMR if you condemn it and favorable to other modes DStar.  As said by many, just because you can get the cheapest DMR radio and bitter that DStar cost more for a radio.

I join the (MARC) Motorola Amateur Radio Club.  I do not care who uses what device or mode.  I passionately Love this hobby with all my heart, it saddens me what it has become.

He seems to be a good writer and story teller,  but his blog is filled with so much blatant lies and hatred,  is this someone that is representatives of TFMCS and the VE3TWR repeater in Toronto CANADA.

I hope PAUL BRISCOE VE3KU HATRED may stop   .
